The usual dosage schedule calls for two doses separated by one week. Nonetheless, the regimen has been altered:

1. Single or double administration with an interval of 2-7 days. This regimen is used in cases of stress and increased loads, before exhibitions and competitions, loss of appetite, after operations and to stimulate fertility.
2. 5-10-fold course with a break between each injection of 1-3 days. Used to improve metabolic processes, skin and coat condition, correct psychological problems, and treat exacerbations of chronic pathologies.
3. Daily intake. Indicated for severe conditions of the dog: infections, serious pathologies, severe metabolic disorders.

The indicated schemes and dosages are approximate. The exact course of treatment is selected by the veterinarian for each dog, based on the severity of the disease, the condition of the animal, weight and characteristics of the body.

Catosal is classified as a low-hazard drug (class 4) in GOST 12.1.007-76. Dogs of any age, breed, weight, and condition—including pregnant and newborn puppies—tolerate it well.
